The Schoolhouse Theater & Arts Center Presents “LEE‘S CAFÉ. The Cafe was inspired by the theater’s Founder, Lee Pope in recognition of her support of the arts and cultural events in Westchester.
Lee's Cafe is an ongoing Art Gallery community event series and will feature a mix of revolving exhibits, music, hot beverages; coffee/tea, food and live performances by notable, local, emerging talent. The event is offered Free of Charge to young adults ages 15 & Up. Unfortunately, no unaccompanied minors will be permitted.
Thanks in large part to a generous sponsorship made by State Farm Insurance, The Lanza Insurance Agency, Harrison, NY, Friday’s teen event is FREE. Additional sponsors making that possible are: Somers residents Adam Brenier, INVISIBLE MASSES and Jacque Roche dba JacqueButterfly.
The Schoolhouse Theater will be providing the community with coffee/tea, dessert and three hours of Live Music from 7-10 pm.
Friday night’s featured performers:
Natalie Austin is a Mahopac, HS Junior, Natalie is a captivating singer-songwriter with a unique style & musical intuition that is well beyond her 16 years. Her influences range from classic rock, to country, & jazz & blues.
Jack Lanza is also a Junior attending John Jay High School in Cross River, NY where he sings in The Rolling Tones, a student-run Acapella group. He studied at The Lagond School of Music and now spends most of his free time collaborating with his brother Alex on original material; two of which premiered in their recent performance at a fundraiser in Milwaukee, WI.
Band members Phil Harlan and Lukas Arbogast comprise the indie electronic duo known as Harlan & Ford. Hailing from Ossining, they will be performing a mix of computer driven beats and textures mixed with live guitars, vocals, and projected visualizations.
The Schoolhouse Theater & Arts Center, Croton Falls. The Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization & venerable cultural center devoted to professional theater at the highest possible standard.
